Explaining Bump Cups

We are happy to report that our revised rules for the 2024 World Euchre Championship only had a few questions—that means we did a pretty good job writing them. And yes, we’re patting ourselves on the back for that!

That said, we did receive a couple of questions regarding getting Euchred and our "bump cups." As per the rules, a "bump" in the game incurs a cost of $1 per player, or $2 for a player who is Euchred when going alone. This is common in Wisconsin Euchre tournaments. And since this is a charity tournament, this money serves as a contribution toward our cause—funding a new inclusive playground for children of all ages and abilities in our community.

If you are concerned about having enough dollar bills on hand to pay the bump fee, fear not! The bar and our available cashiers will be stocked with plenty of singles, and the Fest Haus also has an ATM onsite.
