Planning for the 2025 World Euchre Championship is well underway, and the organizing committee has been hard at work to ensure this year's tournament will be even better than the last. We’re meeting monthly until February and will shift to weekly meetings after that, juggling meetings with sponsors, contractors, and vendors. Our goal is to make the 2025 weekend unforgettable for players and fans alike—but we want your input to make it happen!
We issued a survey after last year’s tournament, and we’re thrilled by the amount of feedback we received. Many of your suggestions are being implemented for this year’s event, and we are always eager to hear more. Now is the perfect time to share your thoughts with us!
What’s Coming in 2025:
Ticket Sale Announcement: We’ll be finalizing the date for ticket sales at our meeting this Monday. Be sure to stay tuned!
Tournament Restructuring: This year, we’re considering restructuring the tournament format, with the team’s tournament happening on Saturday. The plan includes two qualifying rounds before narrowing down the competition to crown our new champion.
Bigger, Bolder Championship Belt: We’re issuing a request for proposal for a new championship belt, and we want it to be the most audacious design yet. Think you have ideas? Let us know!
Expanded Prizes: We’re working on expanding the prize pool to make it more enticing for everyone who takes part.
